It's the big 5-0 for the San Francisco International Film Festival, so we've devoted most of today's Pink section to that monumental milestone.

In nonfestival news, [...] Sam Hurwitt interviews Steven Culp, possibly best-known as Marcia Cross' long-suffering husband on "Desperate Housewives," on his dark, depraved role in the American Conservatory Theater production of Scottish playwright David Harrower's Laurence Olivier Award-winning play "Blackbird" in Scenes [see here].
