According to the spoiler site spoilertv Steven will guest star in the 7th season opener of "Desperate Housewives."

The season opener is called "Remember Paul?" and will air on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at 9/8 pm ET/PT on ABC.

Steven mentioned at the Las Vegas Star Trek convention last Sunday that he would be filming an appearance on the new Fox series "Ride-Along" next week.

That "next week" that is now, so currently he is in Chicago filming that episode. (According to the official Ride-Along Facebook fan page, run by an actress of the show, the 2nd episode is currently being filmed. - You can take a look, even if you don't have a Facebook account.)

If I understood it right, Steven will have more than one appearance on the series. It was kind of loud in that room and I hardly could understand what he said, so in case he appears "only" once, don't shoot me. (In case anyone was there and understood something else, please let me know.)

Just an update on the Friday the 13th convention:

According to the Friday the 13th message board, the administrator of the event plans a mini event of the CAMP BLOOD: FRIDAY THE 30TH, official horror convention, on the days the convention was originally scheduled for those fans who could not exchange or cancel their flight tickets and go to Texas that weekend.

The administrator plans on having several celebrities during that weekend attending the event. If Steven is part of it, is not known yet. The administrator publishes the names of the celebrities shortly before the event.

According to the Friday the 13th website, the CAMP BLOOD: FRIDAY THE 30TH (the official horror convention celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Friday the 13th movie series), Steven was scheduled to attend, changed the venue again and was postponed to a later date, due to some not so nice incidents (if you want to know more about what happened, you can read it on the message board).

New date: May 13th until May 15th, 2011 (yes, 2011 !!!)

New venue: The Crowne Plaza in in North Dallas - Addison, TX

If Steven is still scheduled to attend the event, is not confirmed.

Steven's short movie "Refresh" will be shown at the L.A. Shorts Fest at the Laemmle Sunset 5 Theaters in West Hollywood. The festival takes place from July 22 until July 30, 2010

"Refresh" is scheduled to screen on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at 7.45 pm.

For those of you who are in the area and have the time, go to watch the movie. Yes, it is a short movie and you probably spend more time on the freeway getting there than watching the movie, but it's worth every minute you spend on the freeway. :-)

Tickets go on sale on July 12, 2010.

Q: Can you talk about some of the guest stars that we will see this season?

Matt Nix: Sure. In the third episode, the episode that Jeffrey Donovan [is making] his directing debut, we have Max Perlich is playing the client, and Nestor Serrano is our bad guy. We have Navi Rawat coming in for a serialized arc. Frank Whaley plays a client, does a great job. Benito Martinez from "The Shield" is in our fifth episode, along with Rhys Coiro, who was on "Entourage." There's been a lot of press about Burt Reynolds coming in. He does a great job and is really fun, playing an older, burned out spy. Richard Kind is also in that episode. He was one of those that people are calling me from the set saying, "We must write Richard Kind into more episodes; he's so fantastic." So, he's pretty great. Steven Culp. Yes, we got a lot of fun people coming up. Actually, I should say, just for "Wire" fans, John Doman is also coming up as well.

"Burn Notice" airs on USA every Thursday at 9pm ET/PT.

According to the Friday the 13th website, the CAMP BLOOD: FRIDAY THE 30TH (the official horror convention celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Friday the 13th movie series), Steven is scheduled to attend, changed the venue.

"Camp Blood will now be held at Sneaky Pete's Sports Bar. The venue is still in Lewisville TX, only 5 miles or so from the original venue."

The convention takes place from August 13th until 15th, 2010.

The network TBS decided not to pick up the series "Uncle Nigel."

Steven had announced recently [Mar 30, 2010] that he had finished filming a guest-starring part for the pilot episode.

"TBS announced today that it has ordered eight episodes of "Glory Daze" [...] TBS developed four dramedy pilots for its 2010 prime time slate but just relinquished one to sister drama net, TNT: Franklin and Bash [...]. The network passed on the other two – "Uncle Nigel," a Gary Cole starrer about a Philly police detective and "In Security" [...]"

Steven has finished guest-starring the pilot of the new TBS series "Uncle Nigel."

The network still needs to pick up the series.

"I've just finished guest-starring in a new pilot for the TBS network. It's called "Uncle Nigel," and stars Gary Cole, with whom I've worked on several occasions. He's a terrific actor. It's created and produced by the same people who did "Monk," and is the same comic mystery vein. I don't know when it will air. The network has to pick up the pilot first."

There are no online information about Steven guest-starring in the pilot yet, but they will be posted as they become available. In the meantime read some information about "Uncle Nigel."

Gary Cole has been tapped as the lead in "Uncle Nigel," TBS' first hourlong comedy pilot. The casting lifts the contingency off the project, written and executive produced by "Monk" creator Andy Breckman. "Nigel" centers on Nigel Wells (Cole), a veteran Philadelphia homicide detective who takes on his inexperienced, incompetent nephew as a partner.

"Nigel" is one of two hourlong cast-contingent pilots TBS ordered last month as part of the comedy-centered network's new programming strategy to expand its core lineup of half-hour sitcoms to include animated and hourlong series.
